Andy Postell
Andy Postell is a seasoned church planting coach with many years of experience in equipping, mentoring, and launching church planters across diverse cultural and denominational contexts. His passion lies in seeing new, healthy churches established that reflect the heart of the Gospel and serve as transformative agents in their communities.
After serving in various ministry roles—including 20+ years of entrepreneurial business experience and 20+ years of pastoral leadership in various contexts including church planting and multiethnic church revitalization —Andy transitioned into church planting coaching recognizing the need for sustainable support systems for new leaders navigating the complex journey of starting a church from the ground up.
Andy has coached church planters and teams across the United States, helping them clarify vision, develop strategy, raise support, build launch teams, and grow into spiritually and organizationally healthy congregations. He specializes in vision development, systems building, missional engagement, conflict resolution, leadership development and self-care.
He is certified as an ICF PCC leadership development coach with an additional certification in Emotional Intelligence. He has led multiple church plants including both parachute-drop plants as well as core team multiplication efforts.
Currently, Andy Postell serves as a coach with The River Network, as well as the Conference Superintendent of the North Georgia Conference of the Global Methodist Church where he continues to invest in emerging leaders and developing resources for thriving church multiplication.
When not coaching, Andy enjoys spending time with his wife Claire, traveling both in the United States and abroad. He is deeply committed to ongoing personal discipleship and lifelong learning.
