Who We Are
Founded and led by Rev. Dr. Steve Cordle, The River Network International began in 2016 as the church planting arm of Crossroads Church, Pittsburgh. In 2022, TRNI became the first Strategic Partner named by the Global Methodist Church. We have been equipping church planters and disciple-makers around the world for more than 10 years. We have helped GMC Annual Conferences train and develop plans for hundreds of new churches.
The River Network International takes its name from the vision in Ezekiel 47:9:
“so where the river flows everything will live.”
TRNI seeks to make the living water of Jesus Christ available to the world through helping you to multiply disciples, and leaders, and churches.
Our mission: to help your Kingdom Multiplication Ecosystem to thrive
God created living things exist in an environment of interdependence. Remove just one animal or plant from the environment and all others will be affected.
Likewise, every believer and church exists within a Kingdom Ecosystem, where disciples make disciples. Some of those disciples will become disciple-making leaders. And some of those leaders go on to plant new churches, which are highly effective at multiplying more disciples, and the cycle grows.
Remove just one element and all others are weakened.
The River Network exists to help you nourish your Kingdom Multiplication Ecosystem at each level: multiplication of disciples, developing leaders, planting churches, and regional bodies.
The River Network offers resources on three levels:
Level 1 - Information; introduce multiplication concepts and practices
Level 2 - Application; guidance and accountability to put the information into practice
Level 3 - Transformation; where God changes our values, spirits, and habits.

When it comes to disciple-making and church multiplication, Annual Conference leaders often wonder:
